Inspired by the seventeenth episode of the third season of the animated show, this special set features these particular cards: 1x Phantasmal Image as "Absolutely Accurate Actor" 1x Braid of Fire 1x Cursed Mirror 1x Mask of Memory 1x Thespian's Stage What makes this installment stands out Viewers of the series warmly cherish this particular episode, which acted as a recap of Aang and his friends' journey leading up to the conclusion. In contrast to standard summary installments, or retrospective segments, "The Ember Island Players" wasn't motivated by budget restrictions or production issues. The show's makers truly wanted to provide audiences a moment to reflect on the show's narrative, however, they opted to execute it with flair. Throughout the segment, the main characters view a theatrical performance inspired by their exploits on a stage located on Ember Island, named The Boy in the Iceberg. The entire performance is inaccurate, cheesy, and utterly comical. It excels as it plays with the characters' perception regarding their own identities, setting them against compared to how society (and especially the Fire Nation citizens) views them. It possesses the perfect balance of self-awareness, and it becomes possibly the top rendition of Avatar available to date.
