The Gunners' 10-game winning streak was ended by the Black Cats before the global break, however can the English top division frontrunners recover against local foes Spurs this weekend?

"{I feel like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a plan for this game," remarked soccer expert Chris Sutton.

"Frank will attempt to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating best this season - but Mikel Arteta's team usually still find a way to win."

Sutton is making predictions for all 380 Premier League fixtures this term, versus artificial intelligence, readers and a variety of guests.

For the twelfth round, he faces singer Olly Murs, who is a United supporter.

Murs is a talented footballer as well as a successful singer and has been a star of several Soccer Aid matches down the years - but he is not intending a professional comeback as a player.

"{I actually played in a benefit match the other night for a mate of mine," he explained. "My side was losing 3-1 when I came off in the 60th minute, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you want!

"I continue to love football, but I hurt my knee a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I wish I could play more but the uncertainty of the sport means it's too risky for me in my profession to do it seriously again.

"Plus I am forty-one now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my child or boy chooses to play instead."

The singer and his wife his partner have a young family, Madison and Albert, and he is prepared to emulate his dad by becoming their manager.

"I won't force football on our kids but I've already told my wife that if they do get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will likely be coaching their weekend soccer team," he said.

"I observed my relatives play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously owned a football club for a period too.

"My father coached with us when I was a child, which is probably where I get it from. He managed our side for two or three years and had great fun with it. That might be the future for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"

Weekend, 22 November

• Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT

Chelsea might have to be patient for Cole Palmer's return from injury but their attack is now stronger with Pedro and Delap both back fit.

In my opinion this fixture will be fairly tight, though. The Clarets are disciplined and their sole at Turf Moor defeats so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal.

It smells of a one-all draw to me, but I am actually going to choose Chelsea to win narrowly for what would be their third Premier League win in a row.

The singer's pick: The Blues will be superior. 1-3

The Cherries have lost their previous couple matches - albeit both of them were on the road - but they got absolutely spanked by Aston Villa last time out which shocked me.

On the other hand, West Ham secured two in a row before the hiatus and, although both of those fixtures were at their stadium, they do look strong again.

West Ham's sole on the road win this season came at Forest in August, when West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo was still Forest coach.

So, what exactly do I predict here - can the Hammers extending their run under Nuno, or Bournemouth responding?

I will choose Bournemouth, because I think what occurred against Villa was a anomaly.

The guest's outlook: The home team are performing strongly but the visitors have picked up under their boss. 2-2

The Bees were seen as one of the frontrunners for the drop before the campaign began, but they have impressed a several observers under their manager and are in good form with three in their past four matches.

A family member told me to get Bees striker Thiago in my Fantasy Football squad a few weeks back and, unfortunately, I didn't listen.

Thiago will probably score again on the weekend but I am nonetheless not going to select him or support Brentford at Amex Stadium.

They have not had great fortune on the travel this term, and the Seagulls are consistently decent at home. Brentford will attempt to attack on the counter-attack but I feel the home manager's side pose much more of a danger.

The singer's view: This could be a match where you expect there is going to be a lot of scores but it actually proves to be rather tight. 1-1

The computer's outcome: 2-1

• Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT

This is a massive fixture for the Cottagers, who have suffered defeat in five of their past six games.

Fulham have got lots of talent in their squad but it still seems like they could be dragged into a relegation fight.

Regarding Sunderland, well they are the surprise package of the top flight campaign so far.

Their display in the 2-2 draw with Arsenal last time out was excellent. We have not seen anyone else disrupt the Gunners like that this season, and Sunderland were more than a match for them.

The logical choice would be to support the visitors here, because they are obviously able of disrupting Fulham up too and, the last time they were in this part of London, they beat Chelsea at the end of October.

However I am not going to choose that. Instead, I really need to continue opposing the away team with my predictions. I am taking a lot of responsibility for their good outcomes because they clearly love to prove me wrong.

Considering the home side's home record, the only team they have lost to is Arsenal. Their manager's side will be extremely desperate for a good result, so I am going to predict they will pick up three much-needed points.

Olly's prediction: I'm aware Sunderland are performing strongly and additionally that Fulham are on a poor run... but Fulham have still been decent at home this campaign. 2-0
